Professional License | Initiation, Evaluation, and Processing of Complaints and Actions

Description | An overview of the initiation, evaluation, and processing of professional licensure complaints and actions.

Attendees will learn:

  • Where and how to file a professional licensure complaint.
  • The processes by which different kinds of complaints are investigated, evaluated, and in some cases, prosecuted.
  • The types of disciplinary actions and sanctions that can be taken against a Professional Engineer’s license, when appropriate.

Special attention will be paid to issues specific to Professional Engineers to avoid actions and omissions that may result in disciplinary action being taken against their licenses and further the self-policing of professional engineering and related professions.
