We provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for new construction and renovation projects. Our services range from energy studies and facility master planning to systems design, commissioning and sustainability with a special focus on both the Healthcare and Educational markets.
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our team. This experienced professional would work directly with the President/CEO in our York, PA office.
The qualified candidate would oversee the accounting functions for our company and be responsible the company’s financial reporting to the Board of Directors. This person would also be responsible to oversee the accounting policies and procedures, protecting the assets of the company by monitoring and enforcing controls as well as project costing, billing, payroll/HR personnel, payables and cash management. As controller you would also oversee receivables and client & consultant contracts and the collections process, provide compliance with filing of all tax returns and completing month-end close and preparation of financial statements. Additional responsibilities include reviewing the employee benefit packages including Health, Disability and Retirement plans and supervise financial staff to include recruiting, performance appraisal and retention.
Qualified candidate will possess an Accounting degree, Bachelors’ or higher is a plus with ten plus years’ experience in accounting. Knowledge of architectural/engineering firms a must. Experience with Deltek Ajera software systems is a plus. Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision while supporting a team and creating an environment of excellence.
