The Philadelphia Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has cited David Fleisher as our Philadelphia Civil Engineer of the Year for 2016. This award, our Section’s highest honor, was presented to Mr. Fleisher at the Section’s annual Spring Social, which was conducted on May 5.
Mr. Fleisher is President of Fleisher Forensics in Ambler, a firm he founded in 2002, where he manages a diverse portfolio of forensic evaluations prepared by professionals with various backgrounds and expertise, which has helped to distinguish the firm across the nation. His company handles activities including professional liability matters, inspection of incidents, accident evaluation, determination of the safety of traffic and roadway elements, analysis of construction and industrial safety, evaluation of pedestrian safety, investigation of construction incidents, and determination of compliance with various codes.
Mr. Fleisher received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Widener University in 1972 and returned to school to earn his Master’s degree from Drexel University in 1975. He has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, where he is a Past President of the Valley Forge Chapter, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Society of Testing Materials. He and his family reside in North Wales.
