Electrical Engineer – Remote (Work from Home)
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and calculations as required for design and engineering of power distribution, lighting, grounding, etc., in accordance with the project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
- Perform arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies, as required.
- Provide technical and design guidance to the designers in preparation of construction deliverables.
- Assist Electrical Department Manager in preparation of procurement and construction specifications and bid evaluation.
- Review project scope and vendor information. Assist Department Manager to establish design criteria and guidelines.
- Coordinate with other departments, as required.
- Coordinate with Vendors, as required.
- Identify and resolve any potential conflicts, problems, changes or deviations in designs and engineering.
- Perform site visits, as required.
- Review, monitor, and approve the quality of the work performed by the designers of the department.
- Review department design standards and assist Department Manager to ensure compliance within the department and update them as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering with emphasis on power distribution, substations, arc flash/short circuit coordination studies, conduit, try sizing, cable sizing, and help designers to route the raceways, controls, lighting, grounding, and cable and conduit schedules.
- Experience should include heavy industrial facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with E-tap.
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Florida P.E. required.

Mechanical Engineer – Remote (Work from Home)

- Perform analysis and calculations as required for sizing of mechanical equipment an dipping systems in accordance with the project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
- Provide technical and design guidance to the designers in preparation of construction drawings (equipment layouts, plans, cross sections, details, flow diagrams, P&IDs, bills of material, etc.).
- Assist Department Manager in preparation of procurement and construction specifications and bid evaluation.
- Review project scope and vendor information. Assist Department Manager to establish design criteria and guidelines.
- Coordinate with other departments, as required.
- Coordinate with Vendors, as required.
- Identify and resolve any potential conflicts, problems, changes or deviations in designs and engineering.

- Experience should include heavy industrial facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Florida P.E. required.
